Great Book
Wonderful book – so glad i had found it at last. Price has gone up considerably since i purchased Companions of the Prophet: V2 which cost me only £7 but for some reason V1 was very difficult to get hold of. But i love the book – been looking for it for ages and was happy to pay extra to get my hands on a copy. Arrived on time and undamaged. Thank you

Really good for children & adults
when i was a kid, I loved this book so much that I bought it again as an adult and still love it. It had a profound effect on me as a kid. This is one of those rare books which adults and kids will equally enjoy. It’s also a sunni book – even better!

Excellent
Beautifully written.You get to know the companions and fall in love with them. I was in tears whilst reading these books on so many occasions. The sacrifices made for the sake of Islam should not be forgotten and by readings these books you get transported back in time to the time of the Prophet ﷺ and get to appreciate his companions.

This is by far the best and most readable book in the English language.The style of writing and vocabulary is easier to read for the youth.I read this 20 years ago. It is still the best book in English looking at the lives of the companions

Companions of the Prophet
A brilliant, scholarly piece of work that should be in every home that has an interest or wish to understand the companions of the Prophet Muhammad and early muslims and their community. This book comes in two volumes and covers men and women who stood beside the Prophet Muhammad in the times of trial and triumph.The language is delightful, refreshing and will bring eloquence and and good writting/language style to anyone that reads and absorbs. Suitable from 7/8 years to adulthood but may be condensed and retold to younger age groups – my 3 and 5 year old relish “Companions” reading time. With sound historical and scholarly foundations, you are onto a clear winner with this set.

Concise and vivid description of the companions
An interesting part of this book is that it takes into analysis the life of the companion from a singular and broad perspective. This feat is attained by describing the life of each companions and how the sociopolitical and emerging Islamic cultural in Mecca and Medina influenced them. It’s definitely a good for anyone interested in knowing more about prophet Muhammad and his companions.
