Dont buy this book.
As a well learned man, especially on the topic of Umar Al-Khatab, i was shocked at the very first few chapters of this book.Firstly, this book is tiny. You would expect bitesize facts with sources. Sources are the most important thing in islam. His early life is not very well documented. His father working him to exhaustion is not mentioned. His wrestling ability is mentioned in one sentence at most and horrifically, an un-authenticated murder attributed to Umar Al-Khatab is in this book.Little is it that i wish to read on and woulf advise others to find a better book and watch the Omar series. Very well documented and largely agreed authentic view of Umar Al-Khatab.
